Crystal and Truman Cooper opened Cinnamon Creme Bakery in 2017 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Although their brick and mortar has only been in existence for a few years, their family recipes have been around for generations. At Cinnamon Creme Bakery you’ll find cinnamon buns, apple fritters, pies, fresh bread, cookies and much more.
Their cinnamon raisin pull-apart bread is the inspiration behind the name Cinnamon Creme Bakery. It’s one of their most popular treats.
Our experience at Cinnamon Creme Bakery was very positive. Their staff was very helpful and polite and happily offered up suggestions. The bakery is bright and clean. They have a very large selection that gives even the pickiest of cheaters plenty of options.
The Cinnamon Bun is large. It is wider in circumference than it is tall — unlike most cinnamon buns. The dough is golden brown with tracks of cinnamon. The bright white icing is smeared liberally over its surface.
The Cinnamon Bun has good weight to it. It’s a little buttery but delightfully sticky from the icing. The bread has a moist texture and springs back when squeezed.
The smell of the Cinnamon Bun is rich with butter, cinnamon, brown sugar and fresh bread. It’s the kind of smell that makes you feel like you’re about assault your taste buds with a lethal, edible weapon.
The first bite of the Cinnamon Bun is super moist and chewy. The texture of the bread is fluffy while the flavors of butter, cinnamon and gooey icing bring it all home. Each bite is loaded with flavor and so good you won’t want to share. The Cinnamon Bun is a must-try treat if you’re headed to Cinnamon Creme Bakery on your cheat day.
A very good cinnamon bun with a good ratio of bread to icing. It’s soft and fluffy and the cinnamon flavor is delish. You won’t be disappointed
