Review:
If you are looking for a way to relieve muscle tightness or aches then a roller is the way to go. Tiger Tail is one of the best rollers are the market from a quality and performance standpoint and they are the preferred choice for many PT offices and commercial gyms.
We think that the Tiger Tail works great for both upper and lower body work. It massages and works out knots in muscle groups all over your body including neck, shoulders, arms, upper back, lower back, hamstrings, glutes, quads. The soft foam roller is comfortable massing muscles without getting too deep or applying too much pressure. It is fairly stiff without too much bend while rolling. This allows you to put more pressure on the muscle as you roll. The grip is very comfortable and the roller itself is smooth. We consider the Tiger Tails to be an excellent beginner to intermediate roller that is effective yet forgiving.
Pro Tips:
When using any foam roller, make sure your muscles are relaxed. Rolling a flexed muscle defeats the purpose. Apply as much pressure as you need and don’t be afraid to apply and hold pressure directly over any “knots.” Continue rolling the muscle for 20-30 seconds. Work away from the problem area and then back to the problem area as needed.

What people are saying
What they like:
“A popular choice for physical therapist and personal trainers. Great for pre, during and post workout. Affordable. Effective and comfortable roller for knotted and tight muscles.”
What they don’t like:
“A little stiff compared to other rollers. A little expensive. Can’t get as deep as firmer, heavier rollers.”
Conclusion
We have used Tiger Tails for a very long time. From running in college to personal use and use with clients. We love the comfortable foam roller and the excellent rubber grip. Tiger Tails are designed extremely well and are a popular choice at physical therapist offices and gyms we have worked with throughout the years … that is saying something. It’s an excellent product that will help you warm up before a workout or give you a deep tissue massage for achy or nagging muscles. The Tiger Tail is an excellent beginner roller that is soft but firm enough to be effective. We suggest having one of these in your fitness toolbox.
