The Pocket Tripod Pro is designed to be a tripod that fits anywhere your credit card can. We have used the Pocket Tripod Pro for a year and we find that it is an excellent option as a pocket tripod.
The tripod is concealed in card form. To assemble it, you simply twist the center joint and fold up the two sides. Use the fit card to determine which brackets fit your phone. Once you are set up, using the tripod is easy.
We loved how stable it was when holding your phone. No matter what you are trying to shoot, stability matters and the The Pocket Tripod Pro is up to the task. The angle adjustments are also great. The soft rubber grips safely and hold your phone. Shooting high, low or straight at various tilts was a breeze. We used the tripod a lot for video calls, some selfies and to hold the phone for toddlers watching videos. We think it held up very well and performed great for every task.
We will say that at first the Pocket Tripod Pro does seem flimsy and easy to break. But once you understand how to operate it and how it folds, it’s actually very durable. We have read some complaints about it breaking but we haven’t had any issues. In addition, the legs actually have carbon fiber imbedded in them. As the company explains it: “The 3K Twill carbon fiber, precision CNC’d and overmolded with plastic to enable it to snap into position when transforming from card to tripod and back.”
